The annual competition meeting is October 18, 2011. It will be held at the Southeast Mutual Insurance Company boardroom. The meeting starts at 7:00pm. Address is:

it’s been a busy 2011 season so there will be a lot to review and discuss what happened at the club this competition year. The club also plans what events to hold for the upcoming 2012 season. Come out and let us know what you thought of the club or regional events this year and what direction MMSC should go for the next year.

October Club Meeting

The fall autoslalom series is underway and the Jack Canfield Memorial Endurance race is the final race event of the season. Also, the MHPDC has it’s last event upcoming. It’s been a great season for MMSC so far. Should be some good discussions on the current competition season and next year. Come on out and tell us how we are doing! Get some news from the club and the region as well.

Harold Merklinger was at Slalom @ Slemon this year and some people may have noticed his camera as well. After snapping photos all weekend, Harold has put together a compilation of his photos on DVD. ARMS Regional Autoslalom #6, October 2nd @ MONCTON COLISEUM **UPDATED**

MMSC will be hosting the sixth event of the 2011 ARMS Regional Autoslalom Series on October 2nd at the Moncton Coliseum parking lot. Link to the Supplementary Regulations is below. Quick details below:

Location: Moncton Coliseum Parking Lot, 377 Killam Drive, Moncton, NB

Entry Fee: $20 per driver on-site (pre-register for $17.50 on-line registration form here)

Schedule:

Registration: 10:30am
Scrutineering: 10:30am
Driver’s Meeting: 12:00pm
First Car On Course: 12:30pm

ARMS Regional Race @ AMP: September 25

ARMS will be holding race #6 of the TRAC race series on September 25. Come out and see some good wheel-to-wheel racing in Atlantic Canada. There will be lapping between the races so if you hold a current lapping/solosprint/race license, you can join in on the fun! The day before is the annual Pig Roast at AMP. Tickets are $15, send your ticket requests to race@armsinc.ca.

2011 MMSC Autumn Autoslalom Series!

The 2011 MMSC autumn autoslalom series starts Wednesday (tomorrow), September 7th at the Old Moncton Aiport long-term parking lot. Online registration for the event is available here. Online registration closes the night before.

Registration on-site for the Wednesday night events will be open at 5:30pm. Since days are short, we will try to get started as soon as we can so please show up early.

Since the days are shorter, we will be switching to Sundays for the last few events. Registration on-site for Sunday events will be open at 11:00am. First car on course around 12:30pm. Should have plenty of times for extra runs.

Registration Register online for $12.50 or $15.00 on-site. Look for more details for the October Regional soon. Autumn series dates:

September 7 @ Old Moncton Airport
September 14 @ Magic Mountain

October 2 (REGIONAL) @ TBA
October 16 @ Magic Mountain

it’s been a busy summer and seems like there has been some things happening with the TRAC race series. Should also be some stories from Slalom@Slemon and the CMC event at Limestone, Maine a number of MMSC members travelled to. The MHPDC has been a great success so far. Also, the fall autoslalom series will be starting up soon. Lots of things to talk about! Come on out and find out what is going on at the club and the region!
