It’s that time of the year again! Assuming there’s still snow, MMSC will be holding a Rallycross event on Sunday, January 26th at the Magic Mountain parking lot. * “Normal” #13 or #15 studded snow tires are allowed in all classes. No other types of studded tires are allowed with approval by the organizer.

** including (a) Rally and Race prepared vehicles, (b) vehicles with other than OEM (as the vehicle in question came from the factory) drive train (engine, transmission, rear ends, etc…) and or suspension modifications, (c) vehicles that have had parts removed that cause a weight reduction (seats, carpets, headliners, air conditioning, ABS, etc…)

Another competition year is over for MMSC and the driving club. It’s been a great year for the club! Membership is at a record high. The number of events MMSC has hosted is up and so is attendance. Thanks to everyone for coming out and for another awesome year!

MMSC’s annual Awards and Christmas Party will be held at Catch 22 (589 Main St, Moncton, NB) on Friday, December 6th. Cocktails will start at 6:30pm, order from the menu around 7:00pm, followed by the awards presentation and the club’s famous Yankee Swap with the club’s own Santa. MMSC provides all the gifts, so just show up and enjoy the fun! The party is lots of fun so make sure you come out for this one! If you plan on attending, please let us know so we know how many to expect by giving Mike or Ming a shout.  Note: You don’t have to order a meal to attend.  Feel free to just come party with us!

The Annual General Meeting for Atlantic Region Motor Sports Inc will be held at The Westin Nova Scotian, Halifax, Nova Scotia.  There is a social gathering Friday evening.  Workshops will be held Saturday morning and afternoon followed by the awards banquet in the evening.  Sunday is the actual AGM.  The workshops are where everything happens in the region.  Rule changes, regulations, how the region works is determined at the workshops and the AGM.  These are important meetings so please attend if you can!  More information on the ARMS web site:

The Moncton Motor Sport Club Inc will be holding its Annual General Meeting on November 12th, 2013. The meeting will be held in the South Eastern Mutual Insurance boardroom.  Address is:

The meeting will start at 7:30PM. The quorum for the Annual General Meeting, as required in By-Law item 1.11, is “…not less than two members of the Executive plus twelve active members, present in person or by proxy.” This is an important meeting for the club so please make every effort to attend this meeting or send a proxy. Bob and Bonnie Griffith will be hosting a MMSC Halloween Party this Friday Oct 25. Everybody is welcome to Bob and Bonnie’s “Halloween House” at 131 Broadview Ave. (Don’t Confuse it with Broadway. This is 131 Broadview.) Bob and Bonnie spend countless hours decorating their home for Halloween. Every year they garner the attention of local media and  the public who drive by to see their display. Since they get so many people coming see their “Halloween House”, they decided to do something for a worthwhile cause. This is the 10th year they have collected food and made a donation to the Open Hands Food Bank. If you want to bring an item of non perishable food to donate it would be appreciated.. You are invited anytime after 7:30. Costumes are optional but why not dress up??

Tuesday, October 22 is the MMSC competition meeting. This is the meeting where we discuss the current competition year and plan for the next year. This meeting (like all our other meetings) is open to everyone. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or comments to make things better at our events than this is the meeting to be! It will be held at the Southeast Mutual Insurance Company boardroom. Meeting starts at 7:30pm. Address is:
