Moncton Motor Sport Club

The competition season is about to start so we thought we’d hold a slalom school at the Magic Mountain parking lot to help the new people looking to get into the sport.  Also we’ll be holding a test & tune session for people looking to get their cars ready for the season.  The school will be in the morning with a test & tune in the afternoon.

You must be a member of an ASN Canada affiliated club.  A new membership is $20 and includes the cost of the event.  A membership renewal is $25.  You can apply for membership at registration.

You will need a suitable vehicle to participate.  If it can pass an MVI, then it should be suitable.  You will also need a Snell M2005/SA2005 or newer helmet.  If you don’t have helmet, the club has loaner helmets you can borrow.  Any loose items inside the car should be removed.

Lots of snow and a rallycross event on Sunday.  MMSC held a regional Rallycross event and the AMP annual general meeting was in February.  The upcoming competition season is coming up.  Come out and see what’s the club is working on!

2014 was another great year for MMSC and hoping 2015 continues as the club grows.  We are planning on holding a couple of rallycross events in late January and early February.  Check back for an announcement soon.  Come out and see what the club is working on for the upcoming competition year!

Another great year is just about over for MMSC and it’s time to celebrate!  MMSC’s annual Awards and Christmas Party will be held Friday, December 5th at:

Cocktails will start at 6:30pm and we will be ordering off the menu around 7:00pm.  Competition awards and the club’s famous Yankee Swap will follow.  MMSC provides all the gifts so just show up and enjoy the fun!  The party is a lot of fun so make sure you come out for this one!  Ordering a meal is not required.  If you plan on attending, let Lynne know (lynnemcc@nbnet.nb.ca) so we know how many gifts to bring.

Special Note: Downtown Moncton is a tricky place to park.  Beware of all the BOOT lots!
