Race

Regional races are mostly held at the Atlantic MotorSport Park in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. The track is a two kilometer paved course with eleven twisting turns and several changes in elevation. The track has been a host to many famous racing drivers including Gilles Villeneuve in the late 1970’s. MMSC has also organized a regional sedan race at Centre for Speed in Barachois, NB.

Racing competition is divided into two basic groups sedans and formula cars. Sedan classes can be either Improved Touring (IT) for vehicles older than five years and with restrictive performance rules, or Grand Touring (GT) which has higher safety requirements and few performance restrictions. Also raced is Formula 1600 which is a single seat open wheel race car. If you are interested in competing or assisting at events, please contact the Competition Director or President for information.
