Lapping / Track Days

Lapping or Track Days are high performance driving events on a purpose built race track. It is a step up from Autoslalom where the speeds achieved are often higher than those obtained in Autoslalom. The events are non-timed practice events where normal street vehicles are permitted.

In order to participate in a lapping event in the region, you must hold a valid competition license or lapping card issued by ARMS. Qualifications for a lapping card involve basic instruction on car control, track procedures and flags as well as some on-track instruction on braking points, turn-in points, late/early apexing, and drive by reference.

Lapping and Track Days by the club are normally held under MMSC’s subsidiary, the Maritime High Performance Driving Club (MHPDC). Please visit the MHPDC web site for more information.
